Jessabelle

 

After losing her fiance in a car accident, grief-stricken Jessie (Sarah Snook) retreats to her father's rundown Louisiana mansion, where she finds a gift from her long-dead mother, and a spirit intent on killing her. She finds the tape and it revealed that Jessabelle will be killed.Later she finds out a coffin with a skeleton of a infant which is later revealed as which belongs to the real Jessabelle. Thus the living Jessabelle is not Jessabelle she is someone else.Later she finds out a coffin with a skeleton of a infant which is later revealed as the skeleton of real Jessabelle. Thus the living Jessabelle is not Jessabelle, she is someone else who will have to give her outer apperance as well as life for the dead Jessabelle in order to come back to life. She later discovers that her mother has had a black baby (Jessabelle) as a result of having sex with the black servant of their house and the servant was shot and burnt to death after the childbirth and the baby was killed by the husband. . Jessabelle's mother commits suicide but before that she practices black magic to a white infant and saves Jessabelle's spirit for her to return one day.
